How to Download and Install Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go is slowly making its way around the world. In case you have missed it, or your country is yet to be supported, don’t worry. Here’s our how-to guide for catching Pokemon with your Android, regardless of the region.

First of all, if you happen to live in one of the countries already supported, you can download Pokemon Go from Play Store, hassle-free.

If not, there is a workaround through the Pokemon Go APK mirror. For it to work, you need to configure your settings to allow installation of third-party apps (as opposed to the official ones on the Play Store). To do this, you would need to navigate to Settings, Security, and check Unknown sources to be on. From there, download the APK, press OK when your phone displays the warning pop-up, and the installation will begin.

Even though you’re probably excited to play, don’t forget caution. Remember that third-party apps don’t go through rigorous anti-virus checks. Also, there are rumors floating around that the game developer Niantic is banning players who play via APK.
